At handover, we explain the equipment and the care your pool needs. A first-year plan helps you understand what to expect as your pool establishes.
Swimming ponds start from £45,000, while natural pools and living pools start from £80,000. These guide prices exclude VAT. Your final cost depends on access, ground conditions, size and finishes.

Explore all pool questionsRunning costs depend on the equipment, how long it runs and your electricity tariff. Allow for circulation or aeration, cleaning equipment and the maintenance or servicing you choose. Ask for an estimate based on your proposed system, rather than a single annual figure applied to every pool.
Understand pool running costsClear water depends on suitable filtration, controlled nutrient levels and regular care. Leaves, soil and fertiliser runoff can upset that balance. Some growth on submerged surfaces is part of a living system, so natural does not mean sterile or maintenance free. Appearance alone does not confirm water quality; follow the testing and care advice for your pool.
How natural filtration worksIt depends on the property and the work proposed. Some domestic outdoor pools fall under permitted development, but conditions and restrictions apply, including for listed buildings and designated land. Check with your local planning authority before committing to construction.

Explore the build processA natural pool needs the same care around open water as any garden pool. Plan suitable barriers, controlled access and a safe way in and out from the outset. Children need constant, close adult supervision around water; planting and shallow margins are not safety barriers. Discuss children, visiting family members and pets when planning the layout.
